About McKenzie
Summit Grant Strategies Co-Founder and Senior Grant Writer
McKenzie has over five years of experience in nonprofit development and fundraising. Most of her experience is specific to the grant process, including grant research, developing proposals, reviewing financial documents, and grant reporting. In her tenure with Allen Consultants, she raised over $590,000 for Colorado based non-profits including Medicine
Horse Program, Extended Hands of Hope, Father Woody's Haven of Hope, Big Idea Project,
and Miracle Street Gallery to name a few. She has also served on several grant review
communities, enhancing her understanding of what foundations and grant makers are looking for
in a proposal.
